2008-07-23 [Hiuko]: Me personally, this would be broadcast around the world, some crazy billionaire or pop star like Briteny Spears or Paris Hilton. Not them exactely but someone like them. It would be broadcast on a huge scale, no one would be able to pinpoint me. That is just for the test to see if it works though.

I would use it to kill off the ones who threaten my dearest of friends...To me... despite all that Light Yagami did, I still don't think he put enough thought into it. I know he wanted to create an ideal world BUT he could have at least been more patient in his kills. Once or a little more writings per month would work. *shakes head in disgust* He shouldn't have used the notebook to try to play a god... one reason why so many were on to him. He let the power go to his head and it eventually destroyed him. It...should have been more PERSONAL sort of speak. Plus, he shouldn't have been using those girls like that. He could have just used them to have a daughter or son to complete his mission...to hand down the death note to his next generation... "anyone who touches the death note or any part of the death note will be able to see its shinigami". My theory would work

2008-07-23 [Hiuko]: Well absolute power currupts absolutely. Although I see where you are coming from. I would kill the greatest criminals but not the lesser ones. Only ones on death row or so. I would also space out my killings randomly as to throw off suspicion. I would also take in the personal aspect and defend others but one, I would need to geth the persons name, not using the shinigami's eyes, and I would also put a cause of death like hit by a car or something like that. Something that wouldn't seem abnormal like a heart attack after people on deathe row suffered heart attacks. Oh and I forgot, I'd write down the name and get the pictures of all the people I would kill first before I actually kill them. That way if they take the pictures and names down then it wouldn't matter. I overthought this didn't I?

By watching it, you get the idea of what people might do to catch you, but Light had no idea what he was getting into but look how well he did. I will bet that no one here would have even gone have as far as he did (cept me lol jks NO ONE)

2008-07-23 [Hiuko]: Plus the members of the SPK and the japanese group to catch Kira. Also lights mom and sister but that's it I think. As for not going as far I think you are right but I would have gotten far. I know the normal human mindset pretty well, I can hide stuff very well, and I'm a geat strategist. Also I have no ties to the police so I wouldn't be heading an organization specifically designed to catch me. I thought that was a pretty foolish move of Lights part. Sure he could retain evidence but he wasn't a no body to the people trying to catch Kira. He was the new L and that's something!

2008-07-23 [IonicRose]: heh heh It looks like all of you thought out who you would kill and how. Personally I Don't think I would ever be able to claim a human life using the Death Note. So I would probably be the detective tring to stop Kira. Just like L. =) ...No offence guys. But the killing of a terrorist or snobby pop star I might just let slide lol.

2008-07-24 [IonicRose]: Well the main problem with light was that he was too RECKLESS. I mean the fact that most of his killings were as heart attacks to show the public that there was a 'God' who cared about eliminating the evil of the world, it might of gave him supporters but it also helped L figure out that Light was the 1st Kira within a few episodes of L first appearance within the show. The only problem was that L needed enough evidence to convict the leader of the Kira investigations son.

And Light was also Arrogant and believed that he was so superior to everyone that he could actually become a god. But Underestimating L, Near, and Mellow proved to be his undoing

2008-07-24 [Hiuko]: As I see it the heart attacks were a good idea. This way if you had to kill someone locally without people thinking it was you then you could make it a car accident or something and no one would be the wiser. However he didn't pick his timing very well and I think his biggest mistake was joining the task force. As a member it is true that he would be able to control the evidence a bit but the bad part is that the task force knew him. If he stayed calm and acted like a no body in the world of no bodies there would be no reason to pin point him over a simple garbage man persay. When you want to be secretive the best thing to do is be ordinary. just like hiding in plain sight.

2008-07-27 [Hiuko]: Nope. The notebook in the ground wa Ryuks (I really don't know how to spell his name) Lite gave up that Death Note and so Ryuk took it away. Either that or it was The other shinigami (her name slipped my mind) and she gave it to the guy from the orginization that they tracked after Lite, Misa, and Mr. Yagami were set free.
